These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and urGlow ("we," "us," "our"). By booking an appointment, using our website, or receiving services at our studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Please read carefully before booking. These policies exist to protect both you and us, and to ensure the best possible experience.

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website at urglow.kr or booking any service with urGlow, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not book or use our services.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with these terms, or whose medical history or skin condition is assessed as unsuitable for the requested procedure.
In plain language: By booking with us, you're agreeing to these rules. We want to be transparent so there are no surprises.

2. Description of Services
urGlow is a permanent makeup (PMU) and aesthetic studio based in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. We provide the following services:

Lip Blush — Semi-permanent pigment application to enhance lip colour and definition
Eyeliner PMU — Semi-permanent pigment application along the lash line
BB Glow — Skin-brightening micro-needling facial treatment
Stretch Mark Camouflage — Pigment-based treatment to reduce the appearance of stretch marks
Touch-up sessions — Follow-up colour correction and retention sessions for all services above

All services are performed by Loma Sernaiotto, a trained and certified SPMU artist and educator. Results vary by individual skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare adherence. We do not guarantee identical results across clients.

3. Booking Policy
3.1 How to Book
Appointments are booked online via our booking system. A valid email address and phone number are required to complete your booking. We accept international phone numbers.
3.2 Deposit Requirement
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be clearly stated during the booking process. Your deposit is deducted from your total service cost on the day of your appointment.
3.3 Booking Confirmation
Your appointment is only confirmed once your deposit has been received and you have received a written confirmation from us. An unconfirmed booking does not guarantee your time slot.
3.4 Appointment Preparation
It is your responsibility to read and follow all pre-appointment care instructions sent to you at the time of booking. Failure to follow preparation guidelines may result in a rescheduled appointment at our discretion, and your deposit may be forfeited.

4. Payment Policy
4.1 Deposit (Non-Refundable)
All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including change of mind, cancellation, or failure to attend. The deposit is deducted from the total service price on the day of the appointment.
4.2 Remaining Balance
The balance is due in full on the day of your appointment, before the service begins. We accept the following payment methods:

Cash (KRW)
Bank transfer (KRW)
PayPal (international clients)
Other methods as communicated at time of booking

4.3 Pricing
All prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. The price valid at the time of your booking confirmation applies to your appointment.
4.4 Packages
Multi-session packages (e.g., BB Glow series) must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Sessions within a package are non-transferable and must be used within 6 months of the purchase date.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
5.1 Cancellation by Client
All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
5.2 Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours before the appointment will be accommodated where availability permits, and your deposit will be transferred to the new appointment date. Rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment is treated as a late cancellation, and the deposit is forfeited.
5.3 How to Cancel or Reschedule
Please notify us via the contact method specified in your confirmation email. Cancellations via Instagram DM or other social media channels are not accepted.

6. Late Arrival Policy
6.1 Grace Period
We allow a grace period of up to 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment start time.
6.2 Arrivals More Than 10 Minutes Late
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to:

Shorten the appointment to fit the remaining available time, with no reduction in price
Reschedule the appointment entirely, with the deposit forfeited

Late arrivals that require rescheduling will be treated as a late cancellation.
6.3 Communication
If you know you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you where our schedule allows, but this cannot be guaranteed.

7. No-Show Policy
Failure to attend your appointment without any prior notice constitutes a no-show. In the event of a no-show:

Your deposit is forfeited in full
You may be required to pay a new deposit — up to 50% of the service price — before any future booking is accepted
Repeated no-shows may result in permanent refusal of service.

8. Refund Policy
8.1 Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
8.2 Completed Services
We do not offer refunds for completed services. Permanent makeup is a skilled, time-intensive procedure and all work is performed in good faith based on your skin condition and agreed design at the time of the appointment.
If you are unhappy with your result, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will do our best to assess the situation and offer a solution, which may include a complimentary adjustment at a touch-up session where appropriate.
8.3 Exceptions
A refund or credit may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances only:

The appointment was cancelled by urGlow with insufficient notice
A demonstrable and documented error was made on our part

Refunds, where applicable, are issued via the same payment method used at booking and may take 5–10 business days to process.

9. Health, Safety & Contraindications
9.1 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, and skin sensitivities prior to your appointment. This includes but is not limited to: pregnancy, breastfeeding, blood-thinning medications, skin conditions, autoimmune disorders, recent cosmetic procedures, and history of cold sores (relevant to Lip Blush).
9.2 Right to Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse or postpone a service if, in our professional assessment, proceeding would pose a risk to your health or compromise the result. If a service is refused on health grounds on the day of the appointment, your deposit will be refunded in full.
9.3 Informed Consent
By proceeding with any service, you confirm that you:

Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
Have disclosed all relevant health information
Understand the nature of the procedure, including healing process, colour change, and fading
Have read and agree to the aftercare instructions provided.

10. Aftercare Responsibility
Aftercare instructions are provided to every client at the time of their appointment. The quality and longevity of your results depend significantly on how you care for the treated area during the healing period.
urGlow accepts no responsibility for results affected by failure to follow aftercare instructions, including but not limited to: infection, pigment loss, uneven healing, or colour changes caused by sun exposure, skincare products, or other lifestyle factors.

11. Intellectual Property
All content on the urGlow website — including photographs, text, videos, branding, logos, and treatment descriptions — is the intellectual property of urGlow and/or Loma Sernaiotto. This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without explicit written permission.
Before and after photographs taken in our studio remain the property of urGlow. Where we have received your consent, we may use your photographs for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us in writing.

12. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and store personal information — including your name, contact details, health information, and appointment history — solely for the purpose of providing our services and communicating with you.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except where required by law or where necessary to facilitate your appointment (e.g., payment processing).
Your data is stored securely and handled in compliance with applicable privacy regulations. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, urGlow and Loma Sernaiotto shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
Results that differ from photographs or examples shown, as individual outcomes vary
Adverse reactions arising from undisclosed health conditions or medications
Dissatisfaction with healed results where aftercare instructions were not followed

Our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific service.

14. Acceptable Use of Our Website
When using our website, you agree not to:

Use the site for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
Post or transmit any harmful, offensive, or misleading content
Reproduce or distribute our content without written permission

15. Termination & Governing Law
urGlow reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a booking, or terminate our relationship with any client who:

Violates these Terms & Conditions
Behaves in a threatening, abusive, or disrespectful manner toward our staff
Provides false health or personal information
Repeatedly fails to attend or cancels without adequate notice

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall first be sought to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, South Korea.
